Job description

Woodwork technologists perform technical tasks related to production efficiency increase and work organisation improvement in timber mechanical processing field, wooden products design and production as well as the use, monitoring and repair of equipment and mechanical tools. They also prepare work and raw materials estimates, implement environment protection requirements, manage subordinates, know entrepreneurial, economic and accounting normative acts, environmental requirements for  saw-mill and wood processing facilities, occupational health and safety requirements, the requirements to use safety equipment, basic legislation. They participate in the design and business plans and estimates and conduct economic analysis.
