After their studies pupils and students can do sports in a number of sport clubs:
1. Gym (the members are prepared to participate in weight lifting and arm wrestling competitions)
2. Table games (the members are trained to play table tennis, chess, draught and darts)
3. Sports games hall (the members are trained to play volleyball, football and football)
4. It is possible to play beach volleyball, street volleyball, rugby and do track and field athletics in the pitches and sports ground.
It is also possible to do exercises in the open air (there is all the required equipment). The competitions among groups are organized throughout all year in nine kinds of sports. The best sportsmen are included in Riga Technical College varsity team (twelve kinds of sports). Our sports results are available at www.amisports.lv. Vocational schools varsity team participated in in Baltic Sports Games and Youth Sports Games in Germany, Vilhemhaven. Three sports teachers ensure sports activities at RTC.
The achievements in sport:
- 1st place in Riga region in volleyball
- 1st place in Riga region in arm wrestling
- 4th place in Riga region in badminton for girls
- 1st place in Riga region in badminton for boys
- 1st place in Riga region, 3rd place in Latvia in handball
- 2nd place in basketball
- 3rd place in kettlebell
- 1st place in the region in track and field athletics
- 1st place in the region in cross country running
- 1st place in the region in darts
