An electronics technician works in the production, implementation, technical maintenance, repair, calibration, assembly, inspection, and operation of electronic equipment and measuring instruments.

  • Prepare components and sub-assemblies for installation
  • Work with technological equipment for preparation and assembly tasks
  • Use electronic measuring devices and instruments
  • Assemble and integrate electronic equipment
  • Identify and repair malfunctions in electronic devices
  • Perform cable network installations and repair tasks
  • Install alarm systems in vehicles and residential or commercial properties
  • Select appropriate operating modes for electronic equipment to prevent overloading and apply protective methods
  • Utilize the latest technologies in the production and testing of electronic equipment
  • Work with design, technological, and maintenance documentation for electronic systems
