A mechatronic systems technician works in manufacturing and service organizations. They perform tasks related to the technical maintenance of automated and computer-controlled technological processes, device assembly and adjustment, defect detection and elimination, and programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs). They organize work independently, utilize technical documentation and construction materials, and execute technological tasks for processing and manufacturing parts and assembling components.
The role involves assembling and adjusting electrical drive systems and equipment control circuits. Mechatronics integrates four disciplines: mechanics, electronics, information technology, and control systems.
